hello class of 1970, It is sure hard to believe 38 years has passed already isn't it? How did this happen ? i have been married for 30 years live in lake in the hills and have three boys or young men i should say. My husband John is from south Elgin we meet in college. Our oldest aaron (26) is an electrician, the second son brent(24) goes to school at U.T. in tennessee and wants to major in law and our youngest Anders(22) is out of college with an I.T degree putting in all the network system in the new sherman hospital . Having all boys i have learned to white water raft to hike on vacanoes. For the last 29 years i have worked at Good Shepherd Hosp in Barrington, and Mc Henry Hosp in the endoscopy dept. Wow!!! What a year 2020 has been. Hard to think that it's now 50 yrs gone by since high school. Even these last 25 have been an experience to remember. We now have 6 grandchildren which keep us very busy. Two live near by and the other 4 we have to travel to see. We took our oldest granddaughter on camping trip on the whole route 66 just before covid. What a great experience. I continue to work as a nurse and hopefully soon this virus will be a memory. Also with great sadness my sister Dayla passed away about 6 months ago. Those of u who knew her know we lost a very talented and creative person . I tried to notify her class but I think they didn't have a year book to it's impossible. I am looking forward to a reunion to come and seeing everyone. Be safe and we will look forward to reunion at 51 years. Wear your mask it's not a policial thing its for health protection.
